General questions

Anything that doesn’t fit the categories below — questions about a guide, a home problem you’re stuck on, or feedback on the site.

tayibashabir11@gmail.com

We reply to most messages within two or three working days. If it’s been a week, the message probably went to spam — send it again rather than assuming you were ignored.

Corrections

If something we published is wrong, out of date, or simply didn’t work in your home, this is the most valuable message you can send.

What helps a correction land faster

Include the article URL, the specific line or step that’s wrong, and what happened when you tried it. We correct the article and add a dated note explaining what changed — we don’t quietly edit and pretend it always said that.

Write for us

We take a small number of contributed guides. Before pitching, read two or three published articles so you can see the format — short sessions, tested methods, no filler, and honest about what doesn’t work.

Send a pitch, not a finished draft. One paragraph on the guide you want to write, one on why you’re the person to write it, and links to two pieces you’ve published elsewhere.

What we turn down

Guest posts written to place a link, AI-generated drafts, and anything that’s really a product advertisement in guide format. We’d rather publish nothing that week.

Requesting a guide

If there’s a home or organizing problem you can’t find a straight answer to anywhere, tell us. Reader requests are where a good share of our guides come from, and the ones that get requested more than once move to the top of the list.

Send those to tayibashabir11@gmail.com with “Guide request” in the subject line.
